Booking Conditions |
| Bookings |
| Bookings may be made through your local travel agency,
through a recognised tour operator or directly with us. A provisional
booking may be made by telephone or fax but shall not be considered
binding until it has been formally confirmed in writing. |
| A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 must be paid on
making your booking. No contract will exist with us until we have
received your booking form, duly signed, together with your deposit
and have issued our formal acceptance of it, after which all booking
conditions, including cancellation charges, shall apply. |
| Payment of Balance |
| The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks before the
wedding date. If the balance has not been received by us, we shall
be entitled to cancel the booking. In the case of late bookings (i.e.
those made within 8 weeks of the intended marriage), our late booking
procedures apply and full payment is required with your application. |
| Cancellation by you |
| For your own protection, no cancellation will be accepted
until received by us in writing. If all or any part of a booking
is cancelled, for whatever reason, then Jersey Wedding Services shall
be entitled to the following percentages by way of a cancellation
fee: |
| 56 days or more before the date of the wedding the

| 49 to 55 days before the date of the wedding 50%,
of contract price |
| 42 to 48 days before the date of the wedding 75% of
contract price |
| 22 to 41 days before the date of the wedding 90% of
contract price |
| 21 days or less before the date of the wedding 100%
of contract price |
| WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE OF AN APPROPRIATE
INSURANCE IN ORDER TO AVOID LOSS IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION UNDER
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. |
| Cancellation by us |
| We will take great care to ensure that your wedding
plans run smoothly. Only in circumstances entirely beyond our control
might we consider it necessary to postpone or cancel the arrangements
we have made for a client. In the event of a cancellation under such
circumstances, all monies paid would naturally be refunded in full. |
| Our responsibility |
| This brochure seeks to give general guidance about
marrying in Jersey. It has been prepared carefully and the facts
given in good faith. Whilst believed to be correct at the time of
going to press, they should not be treated as a complete and authoritative
statement of the Law. Every reasonable effort has been made to describe
as fully and accurately as possible the Wedding Package offered and
every reasonable care will be taken to supply what has been described.
We have also taken all reasonable precautions to ensure that our
suppliers are reputable and reliable. Jersey Wedding Services will
use every effort to ensure that your wedding day is a day to remember. |
