Booking Conditions

Bookings
Bookings may be made through your local travel agency, through a recognised tour operator or directly with us. A provisional booking may be made by telephone or fax but shall not be considered binding until it has been formally confirmed in writing.
A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 must be paid on making your booking. No contract will exist with us until we have received your booking form, duly signed, together with your deposit and have issued our formal acceptance of it, after which all booking conditions, including cancellation charges, shall apply.
Payment of Balance
The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks before the wedding date. If the balance has not been received by us, we shall be entitled to cancel the booking. In the case of late bookings (i.e. those made within 8 weeks of the intended marriage), our late booking procedures apply and full payment is required with your application.
Cancellation by you
For your own protection, no cancellation will be accepted until received by us in writing. If all or any part of a booking is cancelled, for whatever reason, then Jersey Wedding Services shall be entitled to the following percentages by way of a cancellation fee:
56 days or more before the date of the wedding the Deposit
49 to 55 days before the date of the wedding 50%, of contract price
42 to 48 days before the date of the wedding 75% of contract price
22 to 41 days before the date of the wedding 90% of contract price
21 days or less before the date of the wedding 100% of contract price
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE OF AN APPROPRIATE INSURANCE IN ORDER TO AVOID LOSS IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION UNDER UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES.
Cancellation by us
We will take great care to ensure that your wedding plans run smoothly. Only in circumstances entirely beyond our control might we consider it necessary to postpone or cancel the arrangements we have made for a client. In the event of a cancellation under such circumstances, all monies paid would naturally be refunded in full.
Our responsibility
This brochure seeks to give general guidance about marrying in Jersey. It has been prepared carefully and the facts given in good faith. Whilst believed to be correct at the time of going to press, they should not be treated as a complete and authoritative statement of the Law. Every reasonable effort has been made to describe as fully and accurately as possible the Wedding Package offered and every reasonable care will be taken to supply what has been described. We have also taken all reasonable precautions to ensure that our suppliers are reputable and reliable. Jersey Wedding Services will use every effort to ensure that your wedding day is a day to remember.
